| 1. Can I use normal (mono) images in a stereo
viewer? Yes, you can. You only have to make two copies of the single slide and mount it in a 41x101 (RBT) frame or two single 50x50 mm. frames. But you will not get any stereoscopic effect in the image! Only by moving the slide left or right, you get the impression of looking through a window. |
| 2. Can I make from one single (mono) image a
stereo image? Yes, you can but it requires manipulation of the image. The image has to be scanned into a computer. Make two files of it and name it left and right. Then with a program like photoshop you have to manipulate parts of the image (left or right only) in such a way that some parts will be in the front and others to the background. |

Do not try to make your own frame format! It might work for you and could be better then other frames but it will never fit in available standard viewers and projectors!
