SLIDE FRAMES FOR DIFFERENT STEREOSCOPIC SLIDE FORMATS

BONUM SLIDE FRAMES

Bonum slide frames are especially for stereoscopic purposes very interesting. These frames allow the user to adjust the height, left-right position and rotation of the slide on a very accurate way.
The fixation of the slide is achieved by use of a strip. The slides, with their perforation, are placed on knobs which are located on the strips. The strips are placed in a channel in which the strips can move from left to right.

On the right image you see the two strips. One under, and one above the slide. You need two strips to span the slide. One strip does not keep the slide on it's place.

To be able to adjust the vertical position and rotation of the image, Bonum supplies series of strips having a certain small deviation to correct the slide's deviation.

On the right image you see a slide with a rotation error. This is corrected by using a red strip. This strip has a rotation of 1.5 degrees to the right sight.

The white strip is the default model, without any correction

For height correction of 0,1 mm. the yellow strip must be used.

For height correction of 0,2 mm. the black strip must be used.

For height correction of 0,4 mm. the grey strip must be used.

For left rotation of 0,75 º, the orange strip must be used.

For left rotation of 1,5 º, the green strip must be used.

For right rotation of 0,75 º, the bleu strip must be used.

For right rotation of 1,5 º, the red strip must be used.

For easy opening of the slide frames without damaging your nails, Bonum provides for each box a plastic frame opener.

Also Bonum does not have slide frames in their program having the strip correction facility and slide cover glass in one frame. Bonum does provide slide frames with glass but then without the strip correction facility.
